Instructions for newer Macs OS Catalina OS 10.15

If you haven’t tried installing Citrix yet you make skip steps 1 & 2. However, if you have installed it previously please follow the steps below starting at step 1.

1)      Completely remove Citrix application and empty trash (you can verify in finder that it is removed)

2)      Restart your MAC and log back in

3)      Go to www.citrix.com , downloads and select the “Citrix workspace App”, click on “Earlier versions of Workspace app for Mac” and you will want to install the Citrix workspace app 1910.2.

4)      During the installation process, it will ask you to “add account” you will need the work server address. Enter in: citrixsf.nystromcounseling.com and then it’ll prompt you to log in with your Citrix username and password. Once installed you will not use this application to open up your Citrix apps

5)      Next, open up safari and go to https://nyt.allscriptscloud.com/vpn/index.html

6)      Log in with username: nal\username and your Citrix password. On the next screen Do not click on install once you log in, click on the small “LOG ON” below the accept terms

7)      Once you are in, click on EEHR, it’ll bring the programs to your downloads and then go to downloads and click on the .ica file to open it and it’ll start your application. This will be the process with opening up all applications.

Going forward once you do this you will use the link in step 5 to access Citrix and then follow the remaining steps.

 

Instructions for newer Macs OS 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, 10.14

Citrix Receiver Instructions for older Macs OS X 10.9, 10.10, 10.11, 10.12:
*If you’ve tried installing Citrix first remove the program, empty the trash then verify it is not still in the finder and restart

• 1) Go to citrix.com and select “Downloads”, then in the “Search Downloads” bar type in “Citrix Receiver”
• Next under “More Results…” click on “Citrix Receiver”
• It should pull up “Receiver for Mac”
• Now we actually want to install “Earlier versions of Receiver for Mac” and the proper receiver to install is “Receiver 12.3 for Mac”

4)      After the file is installed it’ll ask you to “Add account” you will type in citrixsf.nystromcounseling.com then I believe a pop-up box will pop up for you to log in with your Citrix username/password.

5)      Then Citrix Receiver box should open up if it does not there should be a circle button in the top right corner on the menu bar and if you double click on that it’ll open your Citrix receiver box for you to open up PM/EEHR.
