More About Abby Lemke
Clinical Interests:
I provide therapy services to a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults. I am honored to work with clients from all different backgrounds including the LGBTQ+ community. I have worked extensively with adolescents and young adults in high school and college settings, and I love helping them navigate the transition to adulthood. I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients in areas such as depression, grief, anxiety, ADHD, interpersonal issues, trauma, and life transitions. I have clinical interests in supporting women and couples facing infertility, post-partum support, parenting transitions (new parents to empty nesters and everything in between), parenting challenges, career transitions, mindfulness, and wellness.
Clinical Approach:
I bring a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy and a deep trust in the inner wisdom of my clients. I believe growth and healing are possible for all. I have a person-centered approach to therapy and I draw from cognitive behavioral, attachment, and solution-focused therapies. My goal is to create a strong therapeutic relationship by creating a space of safety, warmth, genuineness, and humor.
Hobbies:
I spend my free time with my family, biking to get ice cream, exploring new hiking trails, and playing with Legos. I’m an avid reader and memoirs are my favorite. I also enjoy yoga, cheering on all Wisconsin sports, and finding a good latte.
