More About Alex Olzenak
Clinical Interests:
My main interests are narrative therapy and existential therapy while employing a person-centered approach to therapy. I have experience working with clients from all walks of life to help with learning skills to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach starts from the assumption that all humans are good, deserving of care, and the expert of their own experiences. All of us come from different backgrounds, upbringings, and experiences that have shaped who we are as a person as well as how we view the world and our place in it. It is these unique experiences and the meaning we make from them that we begin to facilitate growth and change.
Hobbies:
My hobbies include cooking, spending time outdoors, watching scary movies, and spending time with my partner and our two dogs.
