Clinical Interests:
Individual, Family, & Couples/Marital Counseling; Ages 5 and older; Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, OCD, PTSD, ADHD/ADD, Eating Disorders, Autism Spectrum, Adjustment Disorders/Life Transitions, Substance Abuse & Addictions, Childhood Disorders, & Personality Disorders.
Clinical Approach:
I provide individual, family, and couples therapy to children, adolescents, and adults (ages 5 and older), with a variety of mental health issues/disorders. I also provide chemical dependency assessments for adults. I utilize the following therapies: Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused Brief, Multicultural, Existential, Marital & Biofeedback. I look at various parts of a client’s life and how it can be the underpinning towards recovery and/or remission. The aim always being working toward maintenance of goals and graduating from services.
Hobbies:
In my free time I enjoy exercising (running, skiing, lifting), singing, playing mind games (ex Sudoku, crypto quip), creating and appreciating art, piano, reading, watching Neflix/listening to a Podcast & spending time with family or friends. I’m active in my church choir and enjoy participating in new events in the community (ex attending Powwows, learning Gamelan music, going to cultural events).
