More About Anders Gregerson
Clinical Interests:
I am focused on working with individuals, couples, and families. I am passionate about helping people of all ages that are experiencing anxiety, depression, issues with emotional regulation, work difficulties, or struggles with self-esteem/self-worth. I can help with navigating life transitions, divorce, communication issues, anger issues, the effects of trauma, and lingering burdens from our families of origin. I am also an advocate for group therapy and support groups.
Clinical Approach:
When working with me you can expect an open and collaborative environment. I want to help create a holistic understanding of the self and affecting issue and use that to guide the path forward. We will use an integrative approach combining solution focused, Adlerian, and systems-based therapies with skills-based techniques (cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, communication, breathing, etc.).
I want to help all my clients find more joy, connection, and fulfilment in their lives and reduce the impact of unconscious or unwanted beliefs that may be getting in the way. I focus on helping to address the cause of the issue while also reducing the severity of the symptoms. I utilize empathy, curiosity, and humor to help walk with you through the process of change and growth. You can rely on me to support you with what you are going through.
Hobbies:
I try to have a balance of activities that span the indoor/outdoor and introvert/extrovert spectrum. I enjoy watching a new show, gaming, or cooking as well as outdoor adventures (disc golf, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, camping), sporting events, karaoke, concerts, and travel.
