Clinical Interests:
All types of psychiatric care for adults. Particular areas of interest include depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and insomnia.
Clinical Approach:
I believe establishing a strong partnership with patients improves their outcomes and allows for greater control over one’s circumstances. I like to think about medicine in terms of getting healthier instead of getting rid of sickness. Medication and psychiatric management is best supported by treating from a “whole body” perspective, including patients’ diets, sleep habits, hobbies and restorative practices (such as meditation and spirituality).
Hobbies:
Enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, and participating in outdoor activities including snowboarding, biking, and backpacking.
