More About Anne Yatskis
Clinical Interests:
I have approximately 13 years of experience in counseling people of a wide variety of ages with a variety of mental and/or physical disabilities regarding their adjustment to life changes, health concerns, and employment issues through my work in vocational rehabilitation. More recently, I have 2+ years of experience providing individual and group counseling to school-age youth.
Clinical Approach:
As everyone is unique in their life experiences, perspectives, strengths and limitations, I do not believe that any one approach fits all and strive to always meet people where they are. However, some specific approaches that I will use are cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and psychoeducation.
Hobbies:
Travel, family time, art and crafts, spending time with my dogs and really any other animals, listening to music – especially the Beatles, watching sports such as baseball, basketball, and football, movies, and concerts.
