More About Audrey Diesslin
Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests include anxiety and depression, trauma, chronic illness, identity and attachment as well as conditions such as ADHD, ASD, PTSD, and OCD. I am also interested in the role intersectionality plays in perpetuating and exasperating these conditions.
Clinical Approach:
In my clinical approach I strive to support people on their unique healing journeys through a person-centered approach. I believe in empowering individuals to take the lead in determining what works for them and what doesn’t. At the same time, I aim to assist individuals in confronting beliefs that do not support them and in building coping strategies to increase future resilience. As someone affected by a genetic anomaly, I have a special interest in supporting those with physical disabilities and chronic conditions. It is my goal to help those affected cope with the new realities caused by disability, while holding space for the insight and growth these complex experiences can bring.
