Clinical Interests:

My clinicial interests are focused in the family foundation of social work. I have extensive background in assisting persons with chronic mental health issues and in the grief/trauma areas. I have experience in working with military members, couples therapy, and child public policy (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families- TANF) at the national level. I have spent several years in working with families with children of all ages and backgrounds. I specialize in grief therapy.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach involves an eclectic viewpoint of integration of cognitive behaviorial and dialectical behaviorial (CBT & DBT) therapies. I encourage problem solving approaches as well as goal setting. I have training in mediation, and in couples therapy.

Hobbies:

My hobbies include cake decorating, playing guitar, live music appreciation, and raising my puppy chihuahua.
