More About Cara Oberloh
Clinical Interests:
My clinical experience has been with individuals from different backgrounds, nationalities and ethnicities (ages 18 and up) who have experienced anxiety, trauma, suicidal tendencies, depression, and stress. I know that the most important thing is client, therapist relationships, so I always try and bring support, partnership, and a safe environment.
Clinical Approach:
I like to focus on strength-based perspective, culturally responsive, multicultural approach. I take a humanist approach that focuses on the client and what the client would like to achieve.
Hobbies:
I love being outdoors, especially in the summer. Going on walks, hikes, trials is the best way to be with nature! Adventures to new towns or areas is something we always try to do snow, sun or rain. I love reading, any and all books but my favorite is The Shape of Water. I also love art, drawing and painting are my favorite mediums. Documentaries are also a late night favorite of mine!
