More About Cheyenne Fendrich
Clinical Interests:
Even though I am new in the outpatient world, I have experience with High Intensity Co-occurring level of Care. Due to having experience in both inpatient and outpatient I have been able to expand my knowledge and skill set. I have been able to assist clients in: building self-esteem, creating relapse prevention plans, gaining knowledge in their triggers and how to create and incorporate their coping skills, how to build healthy relationships and set boundaries, and codependency. I would eventually like to go back and get my LPCC to open up a non-profit clinic specializing in PTSD and other co-occurring disorders.
Clinical Approach:
I try to be open-minded to every client I get on my caseload. Every single person comes from a different background, culture, history, and learning styles. I do my best to figure out the best way to help. I am very person centered when it comes to my counseling approach. I also like to incorporate motivational interviewing, stress management, self-care, and harm reduction.
Hobbies:
I love spending time by water! I enjoy relaxing at home with my two dogs, shopping, traveling, cooking, playing video games, and spending time with my family. I am a proud auntie of 5 nieces and 1 nephew and they are my world! I also love Halloween and all things spooky! I love what I do and I try and make every group fun and relatable! I want everyone who comes into my group to know that it is a safe place to be exactly who you are.
