Clinical Approach:
I am a firm believer that everyone has their own unique recovery journey physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Using a person-centered approach, I will walk alongside you to help you navigate life when life gets really “lifey.” My goal in your recovery process is to help you find or reclaim the best version of you so that you can live a joyful life whether that is through the 12-Steps, faith-based recovery, or other methods – there is no cookie cutter approach to recovery. Using mindfulness, I will help you quiet your mind so that you can learn to be intentional about making the changes you want to make to have a fulfilling life. Implementing DBT skills and techniques, I will guide you through changing behaviors that no longer serve you. Whether your substance use came first or your mental health led you to use substances in attempts to quiet the pain, I see you and I am ready to guide you through the next chapter of your recovery.
Hobbies:
In no particular order…Swimming, Scuba Diving, Traveling, cuddling with my furry canine daughter Mocha, listening to live music, riding my bike, reading, learning, spending time with family, friends and God.
