More About Claire Radatz
Clinical Interests:
I enjoy working with adolescents, families, those who come from underrepresented or adverse backgrounds, and those who have experienced adverse life experiences to help them work through life transitions and challenges to reach their full potential. I have experience working in a day treatment setting with adolescents who have co-occurring addiction and mental health concerns, juvenile detention centers, working with court ordered clients, and working in group settings. Additionally, I am DBT and EMDR trained and enjoy using both treatment approaches to offer hope and healing to my clients.
Clinical Approach:
I work from the base of person-centered therapy; I truly believe that each client is unique and valued. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each of my clients and find it an honor to walk alongside people through all of life’s challenges. Additionally, I use DBT to help teach clients skills in the hopes of helping people build a life worth living! I also enjoy using my EMDR training to help clients process through trauma effectively and offer them hope and healing.
Hobbies:
As a former college and semi-professional athlete, I love to be active and outside as much as I can! In the summer, you can find me on the boat waterskiing and tubing, in the fall I love to take hikes and enjoy all the beautiful fall colors, and in the winter, I love to snowboard and play ice hockey. I enjoy sharing these moments with my wonderful family and friends! If you can’t find me outside, I am probably at the nearest local coffee shop sipping on a nice warm drink.
