More About Corrine Pruitt
Clinical Interests:
Hello my name is Corrine and I enjoy working with diverse populations from ages 18 yrs to 90+ yrs old. I have worked both inpatient and outpatient in areas of depression, anxiety, loss and grief, PTSD, trauma, abuse, anger, and concerns with aging and subsequent life changes. My main interest if for clients to feel respected and understood to find the right tools and resources to create positive changes in their lives.
Clinical Approach:
Every person is unique and special so therapy should be tailored for you and your own life experiences. Change is not always easy but the right coping skills and therapeutic tools can help lead towards positive changes in order to grow and thrive.
I use a blend of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, strengths based, solution focused, acceptance commitment therapy, and narrative therapy to explore any challenges in working towards your goal.
Hobbies:
I love spending time with my family, hiking, and and almost all water sports. I consistently like to read industry related literature (it’s fascinating), to keep myself up to date with the latest research and findings.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and for taking the journey towards better self-care and positive growth.
