More About Cortnie Bain
Clinical Interests:
I have experience working with clients who struggle with both mental health symptoms and substance use disorders. I prefer to work with 18+. I believe in client centered therapy. Therefore, I work with the client to create a treatment plan catered to their personal needs. I am open to incorporating spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic experience.
Clinical Approach:
I gravitate towards CBT, MI, DBT and Solution Focused therapeutic approaches. I believe therapy is a safe and effective way to explore personal beliefs and values. A place where we can learn new coping skills, challenge distorted thinking and gain new perspectives on our current circumstances.
Hobbies:
I love summer. That being said, I love paddleboarding, swimming, hiking, camping and eating outdoors. I also enjoy cooking, movies and running.
