Clinical Interests:

My clinical interest is providing support and guidance to those suffering from substance use disorders so they can build a brighter future through the power of recovery. I have 2 years of experience in a high intensity residential facility where I helped my clients learn healthy coping skills, relapse prevention skills and address their mental health. I enjoy facilitating group and individual therapy sessions because it gives me the opportunity to listen, empathize and give helpful feedback to those in need.

Clinical Approach:

My goal is to connect with clients on their level, treat them with respect and support them through their journey of recovery. I like to use a holistic approach when working with my clients so I can create a treatment plan that will address all their individual needs. The main therapeutic approaches I use with my clients are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Hobbies:

My favorite hobbies shift with the seasons, thanks to life in Minnesota. In spring, I delight in planting and nurturing my garden and taking long walks. Summer finds me at my cabin nearly every weekend, where I bask in the sun, enjoy fishing and boating, and cherish time with my family. Fall is a time for hunting, exploring the vibrant foliage, and relaxing by a campfire on crisp evenings. In winter, I indulge in baking, ice fishing, and cozying up on the couch with a good book
