More About Courtney Sowers
Clinical Interests:
Clinical interests lie in Feeding and Eating disorders (working individuals who struggle with an eating disorder and aiding in their recovery), Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Trauma and Stressors or Related Disorders. These have been my general focus for the last few years, but I am in no way limited to only working with individuals with these disorders. Other disorders that I have worked with are the following: Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Gender Dysphoria, Disruptive, Impulsive and Conduct Disorders, Substance Related and Addictive Disorders, Personality Disorders, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and Bipolar Disorders.
Clinical Approach:
Clinical approach is geared towards the individual rather than a specific clinical approach. I feel strongly about the application of CBT, DBT, REBT, SFT, FT, and Humanistic therapy.
Hobbies:
Personal interests and hobbies fall into art (drawing, painting, and designing), antique shopping, music & concerts, gardening, camping, and kayaking. I also love spending time with my dogs, my cat and my family.
