More About Dana Seelen
Clinical Interests:
I work with clients who are experiencing mental health symptoms related to depression, anxiety, PTSD, shame, lack of self esteem/self worth, and attachment/trust struggles. I also assist those who are wanting to improve relationships, develop healthy boundaries, increase communication and self advocacy and learn conflict resolution skills.
Clinical Approach:
I utilize a combination of short-term, solution focused therapy with attachment theory and a strengths based approach to help others identify personal triggers and negative thought patterns. Once those are identified, I assist clients with developing resiliency and problem solving skills to reduce symptoms, gain a deeper understanding of themselves, and identify and pursue life goals.
Hobbies:
Some of my favorite things are road trips with great friends and great music, traveling, reading, time with family and attending Blue Angels air shows.
