More About Daniel Hendrix
Clinical Interests:
I enjoy working with a broad spectrum of clients of different backgrounds and diagnoses. I have enjoyed working with clients with depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, autism, ODD, substance use disorders, and more. While I got my start working with children and families, I enjoy working with all sorts of age ranges and backgrounds.
Clinical Approach:
I employ mainly a CBT approach to therapy, but will do what works for the client, and have used EMDR, humanistic, and DBT approaches. I tend to be direct in my approach, and try to address the heart of the issues. I like to work with the client and come together to agree on measurable goals and focus on achieving them.
Hobbies:
I often spend time with my friends playing video games and board games, and will often go to trivia once a week during the winter. In the summer, I like to be outdoors and in nature, and will often go to the lake or go on hikes. I like to play pickup football games in the fall, and am an official Green Bay Packers owner. I like travelling and exploring new parts of the world, and always am looking forward to my next adventure. I enjoy good TV and movies, especially historical dramas, fantasy, and sci-fi. I enjoy learning, especially about science and history. I have two cats named Bonny and Clyde, and I love spending time with them and playing with them.
