Clinical Interests:
I work with children and adolescents on a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, divorce reaction, etc. I also work with adults on similar issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, etc. I work with couples as well in dealing with marital issues.
Clinical Approach:
I subscribe to both Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Experiential Therapy modalities. In working with children, I use Experiential Play Therapy as treatment modality of choice. My clinical approach to a new client is family systems focused. l look at the family system as a whole and not just the individual. How the family system is affected and how the family system can change to bring a different outcome, hopefully a more healthier and happier outcome.
Hobbies:
I enjoy superheroes. I like to read comics and graphic novels. My favorite superhero is Batman and I love all the Marvel and DC Cinematic Universes. I am your typical MN sports fan. My allegiance is with the MN Vikings, MNUFC, MN Timberwolves and Lynx, MN Wild, and MN Twins. I love being outside in whatever capacity that is.
