More About Elizabeth Menon

Clinical Interests:

I have had the pleasure of working with adults in multiple settings- home based therapy services, out patient substance use services, and within Primary Care clinical settings. Due to these different settings, I have worked and have a desire to continue to work with a variety of demographics (i.e. age, race, gender, religion) but have found interest working with individuals who struggle with substance use, trauma, and interpersonal stressors. I enjoy working with individuals who are looking to incorporate Art Therapy in their care, in addition to clinical counseling interventions.

Clinical Approach:

I am an integrative therapist, and trained in both Art Therapy and Clinical Counseling modalities. I incorporate strategies that align with cognitive behavioral therapy skills, motivational interviewing, interpersonal therapy, mindfulness, and Adlerian Art Therapy. I identify as a Person Centered Strengths-Based provider working to meet clients where they are at and set goals that align with their values. My goal is creating a collaborative space for clients to feel safe to work towards their behavioral health and recovery goals in a safe environment.

Hobbies:

In my free time I love spending time outside, making art, and hanging out with my 2 cats. I am a mixed media artist, and enjoy making art that centers around nature.
