More About Emily Conery
Clinical Interests:
My competencies are in helping adults with grief and loss, life adjustments, interpersonal/relationship issues, and ADHD. My specialties include helping adults with depression, phobias (including social anxiety), panic and agoraphobia, OCD, and generalized anxiety.
Clinical Approach:
My therapy style is non-judgmental and direct with a strengths-based approach. I am trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavioral activation, exposure and response prevention, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change, which everyone is capable of with a little help along the way. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!
Hobbies:
When I’m not working, I enjoy reading and participating in a book club, gardening, traveling, and spending time by the lake in the summers.
