More About Eva Albrecht-Feld
Clinical Interests:
I have worked with, and enjoyed working with, children, adolescents, and their families for the entirety of my career, and even longer in other capacities. I have worked with clients aged 3 to young adult (and every age in between), and their parents/caregivers. I have experience with a wide variety of diagnoses, symptoms and systemic issues and have enjoyed supporting treatment for them all. My particular passion is attachment and trauma.
Clinical Approach:
I take a person-centered approach to therapy. I pay close attention to the needs of the client and/or family and use their needs to inform a directive, assertive approach. I have extensive experience in skills-based work; with years of experience in CBT- and DBT-based programs for adolescents and their families. I use this knowledge to incorporate skills as needed. If we work together, we are in a relationship. I value and invest in our relationship by making a connection, using my own vulnerability (as appropriate), and engaging in play, activities, and humor at times.
Hobbies:
In my free time I enjoy cooking, puzzles, taking walks with my dog, and spending time with friends and family.
