Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests center around the understanding of leadership & clinical organizational psychology, trauma, depression and anxiety, intimate partner relationship, child welfare, multi-generational conflicts, immigrants/refugees, cultural identify and racial disparities especially within the Hmong community and BIPOC communities. I see myself as the bridge between communities/families/individuals and the system we live in.
Clinical Approach:
I have expertise in Systemic Family Therapy/Collaborative Intensive Bridging Services, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy/ strength based approach, reality therapy, psycho-education, social justice/advocacy/systemic 360 degree view, narrative/exposure therapy, guided imagery/grounded technique, Focus In Therapy (FIT), Sequencing, role play, music/art and play therapy.
Hobbies:
I speak Hmong, French and English. My hobbies include traveling, physical fitness and cooking. I also enjoy arts: drawing and painting. I love to play the piano and guitar. I like to sing during my free time. And most importantly I love to spend time with my friends and family.
