Psychological & Neuropsychological Evaluations (Ages 6-26 years):
Dr. Feaker specializes in assessing and diagnosing a range of neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ASD, ADHD, cognitive delays, learning disorders/dyslexia). She also has competencies is evaluating depression, anxiety, OCD, and trauma-related disorders. Dr. Feaker is committed to providing comprehensive evaluations that help children, adolescents, and young adults reach their full potential.
Outpatient Therapy (Ages 6-26 years):
Dr. Feaker approaches therapy with children, adolescents, and young adults with an emphasis on client-centered and strengths-based approaches. She has clinical experience working with a wide range of presenting concerns, including ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral problems, school and academic challenges, self-esteem and identity development, and family/peer relationships. Dr. Feaker believes in the inherent strengths of every individual and strives to create a therapeutic environment that is supportive, respectful, and non-judgmental.
Clinical Approach:
Dr. Feaker is a strength-based, and client-centered provider. She uses her diverse training and creative nature to tailor the therapeutic space to each individual by bringing in concepts from CBT, DBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, Family Systems, Parent Training, and Social Skills Training. Dr. Feaker often incorporates themes of self-esteem, self-compassion, and mindfulness to foster greater insight.
Hobbies:
In her free time, Dr. Feaker enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends. You can often find her creating art, cooking new recipes, or cuddling with her giant dog.
