MHPMore About Gora Gora
Clinical Interests:
As someone passionate about mental well-being, I’m particularly interested in children’s development and ways to help people function at their best.
Understanding mental strength is key — how we build resilience, overcome adversity, and unlock our full potential.
I’m also deeply curious about the impact of mental traumas — how they shape behaviour, relationships, and growth — and strategies to promote healing.
My goal is to combine these insights to empower individuals, especially youth, to thrive emotionally, mentally, and socially
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is simple and effective.
I like to use the F.A.I.T.H. Model
(Focused, Adaptive, Integrative, Trust-Based, Holistic)
Focused — I Set clear goals for emotional growth, resilience, and social skills while ensuring purposeful and intentional sessions.
Adaptive — Every child’s journey is unique. I would Adapt strategies to fit their personality, cultural background, and emotional needs.
Integrative — I Blend cognitive-behavioural strategies, mindfulness, play therapy, and storytelling to meet kids where they are.
Trust-Based— I like to Build a foundation where children see me as a mentor, guide, and safe person—someone they can lean on beyond formal sessions because I genuinely care for children and want to improve their lives.
Holistic — I Incorporate family dynamics, school environments, and spiritual well-being to foster lasting growth.
Hobbies:
Outside my professional goals, I stay busy with things I love — activities that keep me sharp, active, and connected.
Playing soccer has been a massive part of my journey — from competitive play to simply enjoying the game.
I’m passionate about working out and constantly pushing myself physically and mentally.
I love learning new activities — anything that challenges me to grow or think differently.
Family time is a big priority — game nights, deep talks, or hanging out.
I’m a big fan of trying new restaurants — exploring different cultures through food is always a win.
In my downtime, I enjoy video games — both for fun and for the competitive edge.
Lastly, I love to critique movies — breaking down storylines, acting, and direction is my kind of fun.
Life’s better when you embrace new experiences and connect with the people around you.
