More About Grace Franey
Clinical Interests:
I work with clients aged 13 and older as they navigate various life challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, and self-esteem struggles, among others.
Clinical Approach:
In our work together, we will focus on your specific needs and goals by using therapeutic approaches such as client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Client-centered therapy helps us better understand your feelings, while cognitive behavioral therapy aims to change negative thought patterns. Acceptance and commitment therapy encourages you to accept your feelings as you work toward your goals, and solution-focused therapy focuses on finding practical solutions.
During our sessions, we can utilize these methods interchangeably to best meet your needs. By adapting our approach based on your progress and specific challenges, we can draw on the strengths of each intervention as appropriate. This flexibility allows us to tailor our work together, ensuring that we address your concerns and support your journey toward positive change. As we move forward, we’ll continuously assess which strategies resonate with you, creating an environment that fosters your growth and healing.
Hobbies:
Some of my hobbies and interests include dancing, practicing yoga, baking, exploring nature and wildlife, watching TV shows and movies, and cheering for the Vikings. Skol!
