More About Harlie Lane
Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests include queer issues such as queer identity development, transitioning, and relationships. Also included are ethical nonmonogamy, trauma, late diagnosed ADHD/mental health, and adolescent mental health issues. I have experience supporting clients with many different mental health challenges.
Clinical Approach:
My approach involves partnering with my clients and allowing clients to set their own treatment goals and dictate what ways they receive support from me. I strive to help you use your supports and unique strengths to attain goals set by you. I believe that my clients are experts in their own experience. I believe that the body plays an important role in mental health, and that good mental health can be attained at any size, shape, and physical ability level. I incorporate trauma informed approaches, DBT, CBT, Internal Family Systems, and many other evidence-based approaches in my therapy.
Hobbies:
I love gardening and plants, hanging out with my dog, dancing, playing my instrument, singing badly, and crafting. I enjoy reading up on mental health research, and I can be found anywhere there is live music or nature.
