More About Jadelyn Hanson
Clinical Interests:
I enjoy working with teenagers and adults from all different backgrounds. I have experience with and I am passionate about working with individuals experiencing issues related to abuse, domestic violence, parenting, perinatal concerns, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and bipolar disorder. If Christian counseling and prayer in the therapeutic relationship are important to you, we can incorporate this into our time working together.
Clinical Approach:
I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to be encouraged, empowered, and equipped to live a fulfilling life. My primary approaches include strengths-based perspective, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered, and holistic approaches, along with adapting the approach to fit the needs of my clients. My goal is to help provide psychoeducation, teach coping skills, build upon clients’ strengths and resources, assist clients’ in discovering their purpose and identity, and journey with clients in finding hope and freedom.
Hobbies:
I love helping people find their personalized fashion, fishing, spending time at the lake, paddleboarding, running, listening to music, watching movies and tv shows, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.
