Clinical Interests:

I have previously worked with adults and children with autism spectrum disorder. My previous job was working as a school-based therapist in a Middle School. In the past I have worked as a therapist and administrator of a mental health clinic with adults with various mental health concerns. Some of the more common diagnoses I have worked with are generalized anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, and substance use. In the past I have worked in a substance use treatment facility as an intake counselor.

Clinical Approach:

I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help clients including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based approach, collaborative counseling, and utilize some DBT skills. My goal with working with clients is to meet them at where they are at and work with them to come up with goals that we can work towards.

Hobbies:

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, kayaking, hiking, biking, and the arts.
