More About Jason Griswold
Clinical Interests:
I offer outpatient therapy services for adolescents and adults (ages 13+). I have experience and training in helping patients with symptoms or diagnosis related to depression, anxiety, stress, anger, trauma, bipolar disorder, ADHD, borderline personality disorder, grief, life stage changes, and relationship difficulties. Furthermore, I welcome patients from any race, ethnicity, religious belief, gender, or sexual orientation.
Clinical Approach:
I see therapy as a collaborative effort created together by patient and therapist. I offer patients a mix of strategies, taking the best parts of various theories and therapy models to create a customized, blended approach to therapy. I have been influenced by a variety of clinical approaches including psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT. I am also a trauma informed therapist with certifications in Forward Facing Trauma Therapy (FFTT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T). I help patients understand treatment options and together we decide the best therapy approach or approaches to treat the patients problem/s.
Hobbies:
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family. You may spot me hanging off a cliff (rock climbing); tumbling down an icy hill (skiing / snowboarding); rolling away (biking) or running after flying saucers (playing ultimate frisbee). I also enjoy photography and music (watching live concerts, playing guitar, listening to music).
