Clinical Interests:
Jean feels privileged to be able to assist you in your journey through life’s transitions, including identity/self-concept issues, recovering from grief and loss, managing stress and anxiety, navigating relational or occupational issues, or related to gender/sexual orientation.
Clinical Approach:
Her style is predominately Client Centered, but is also informed by Psychodynamic Theory, Jungian and Depth Psychology, Gestalt Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive therapy. Jean incorporates the creative practices of journaling and writing poetry, analyzing dreams, and using art and music as a way to access deeper emotions.
Hobbies:
Jean enjoys spending time with her family, as well as traveling, hiking, gardening, reading, and poetry. She is a Missouri Master Naturalist and spends time volunteering and advocating for environmental concerns.
