More About Joan Kane-Coleman
Clinical Interests:
I enjoy working with adolescents, adults and couples. My interests include working with individuals with autism, ADHD, spiritual issues, insomnia, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety. I work with couples considering marriage as well as couples struggling with marital issues.
Clinical Approach:
The approaches I use include systemic therapy, art therapy, sand tray therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy in addition to other modalities depending on the person and situation. Everyone has a story and I like to provide a safe space for that story to be told. I believe it is important to meet people where they are and help them find their way to health and healing.
Hobbies:
I enjoy Kayaking, Gardening, refinishing furniture, Camping and traveling with my husband.I am active in my church and enjoy fellowship with family and friends.
