More About Jordan Myhre
Clinical Interests:
My specialty is working with littles under 5 years old, however, I enjoy working with kids 10 and younger. I have experience working with children and families experiencing difficulties within the family system, trauma, stressors, anxiety, depression, FASD, autism, and ADHD. I am interested in incorporating more work with expectant mothers or postpartum mothers as well.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is very relationship based. Working with children I emphasize having a strong, trusting relationship with all family members including the child, caregivers, and siblings. It does take a village to help support raising a child. Due to working with littles, play is always a part of my therapy. There is nothing better than getting down on the floor and engaging in play with a child!
Hobbies:
I love my coffee in the morning and usually it is much needed! But when I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my 2 little girls, whether we are walking to a park, going out for ice cream, or having a dance party at home, they are my everything!
