More About Juliann Stark
Clinical Interests:
I’m interested in neurodiversity including helping clients with ADHD or on the Autism Spectrum navigate life. I’m also passionate about LGBTQ issues including acceptance, coming out, transition, and more. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with adults and adolescents.
Clinical Approach:
As a newly graduated counselor, I believe the relationship between a client and counselor to understand each other helps build the foundation for counseling. My goal is always to create a warm and welcoming environment to help the client find methods and strategies to best manage mental health and aid in their recovery. Every client that comes into my office brings a unique and rich experience that can help aid in healing and building strength.
Hobbies:
In my personal time, I enjoy writing, reading, and playing table top games with friends and family.
