Clinical Interests:
I have previous experience working with youth in residential treatment programs and intensive intensive in-home settings. I have a passion for connecting with children and adolescents and helping them navigate through trauma, anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, self-esteem and everyday stressors. Equipping parents with the tools and techniques to address their children’s varying needs is another area of interest. In addition to working with children and their parents, I also enjoy working with young adults as they navigate life transitions.
Clinical Approach:
When working with clients, I like to adjust my approach to meet their individual needs. I work from a couple different modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, play, and polyvagal theory. I am open to incorporating the client’s spirituality in session if they so choose. Ultimately, my client’s are the experts on themselves, and I partner with them on their journey to healing and self-discovery.
Hobbies:
In my spare time, I love spending my time outdoors camping, hiking, or out on a lake somewhere. I also love reading and painting as well.
