Clinical Interests:
Kalee has experience working with a diverse population of children ages 2-18 years old. Kalee has worked with a variety of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma–stress related disorders and behavioral and emotional concerns. Treatment modalities of clinical interest and competency include certification in Attachment Bio behavioral catchup (ABC) therapy program, registered in Circle of Security parenting program (COSP), competency in Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, person-centered therapy, mindfulness, and some play therapy techniques.
Clinical Approach:
Kalee approaches therapy through a person-centered, strengths-focused, trauma-informed and cognitive behavioral lens. Building a trusting and therapeutic relationship is at the forefront of therapy to create a safe and connected therapeutic space. Kalee incorporates CBT intervention, mindfulness, movement and play techniques into session to promote emotional wellness and co-regulation. Kalee’s mission is to support individuals in their journey with mental health to lead and cultivate a more mindful, healthier life.
Hobbies:
Kalee enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking and being outdoors and playing with her dogs, Huckleberry and Finn.
