More About Karen Scott
Clinical Interests:
Adolescents and adults are the clients whom I most enjoy serving. I work with people who are experiencing depression and anxiety, grief and loss issues, life transitions, and trauma effects. I am close to full certification in the Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy model.
Hobbies:
Connecting with people is one of my passions. I have moved many times, so I have friends and family around the country with whom I enjoy fellowship. I sing on my church worship team and play the piano for fun. Quilting is another passion: so many colorful fabrics to cut up, sew back together in new shapes, and create something beautiful that warms a person’s heart. My husband and I enjoy traveling (since all the children are grown up and gone) and playing cribbage.
