Clinical Interests:
I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, mental illness, grief and loss, trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I also work with couples who are seeking improved relationships and improved communication.
Clinical Approach:
As a clinical social worker, I employ a holistic approach focused on identifying and overcoming emotional, cognitive and behavioral obstacles that prevent an individual from having the successful and productive life they deserve. There are several clinical approaches that I utilize depending on the needs of an individual client, these can include any of the following or a combination of the following approaches. Skill based symptom reduction, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Schema therapy, insight oriented therapy, family systems. Cognitive processing therapy CPT (trauma), EMDR (trauma). I am also comfortable utilizing a biblical approach in conjunction with any of the above therapies.
