More About Kelley Gammell
Clinical Interests:
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults dealing with a variety of issue. My areas of interest include LGBTQIA+, anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD and trauma, gender and sexuality, personality disorders, and more. I have previous clinical experience providing DBT and traditional outpatient therapy, with clients who are in crisis, overwhelmed, are experiencing life changes, struggling with relationships, experience loss and grief, and struggling with their mental health in general.
Clinical Approach:
I work hard to create a safe space where you can be yourself and feel safe, accepted, and empowered to grow and change. I use a person-centered collaborative approach, and strive to meet each client where they are at to work together to achieve their goals. I integrate a variety of evidence-based practices, including mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy.
Hobbies:
I enjoy reading, writing, spending time with my family, friends and my three pugs, playing video games, and baking. I can often be found playing with my dogs, curled up with a book, or playing my current favorite video game. My pugs (and husband) are my whole world and keep me on my toes in the best way. I also have a passion for random trivia and women’s history, so I know a lot of not so relevant information.
