More About Kenzie Boozikee
Clinical Interests:
Individuals, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, CBT, DBT
Clinical Approach:
I believe that the therapeutic relationship between counselor and client is foundational to the work that we do together. One of the best parts of my job is getting to know my clients and I feel honored to be able to hear their stories. I also value helping people gain insight into themselves and empower them to work towards solutions to the struggles they are facing. I aim to help people know their worth and feel confident and competent to manage life’s challenges.
I draw from different therapeutic approaches as there typically isn’t a “one-size fits all” modality and I respect the unique needs of each client. I tend to gravitate towards trauma-informed approaches and structured approaches that provide resourcing for clients such as CBT and DBT.
Hobbies:
I enjoy being active so I love playing pickleball. I also like to read, listen to podcasts, and enjoy any opportunity I get to travel.
I am very extroverted and love spending time with coworkers, friends, and family to help me recharge.
