More About Killy Kitzmann
Clinical Interests:
I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, depression or trauma due to their past. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients begin to see benefits of addressing the “scary” or “uncomfortable” after the first month.
Clinical Approach:
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first few sessions, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and then collaborate on the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we’ll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and behaviors. During treatment, I’ll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings and behaviors for the better.
Hobbies:
Exercise, hiking, fishing, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and cooking
