More About Linda Rounsville
Clinical Interests:
I have worked with individuals and families coping with a variety of common concerns such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, stress, relationship problems, parenting problems, abuse, trauma, chronic pain and more including bipolar disorder and personality disorders.
Clinical Approach:
I am a compassionate person who uses a person-centered, solution-focused approach to helping others. I strive to help people learn to help themselves through empowerment, increased awareness of their strengths, and confidence/skill-building to face the often-difficult changes they want to make to lead a more contented life. Using a direct, client-focused style in counseling, I utilize components of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, Interpersonal, and Solution-Focused Therapies tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
Hobbies:
My personal interests are farming, gardening, homesteading, camping, swimming, crafting, and cooking. I enjoy travel and spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren.
