More About Maggie Verdeja
Clinical Interests:
For the last 7 years I have worked with adults experiencing PTSD, anxiety, autism, depression, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, as well as mothers navigating through postpartum health.
Clinical Approach:
I strive to create a warm and empathetic environment. My approach can be described as rather informal which is important for me to preface as I believe that therapy is truly a partnership and that we can and do learn from one another. I incorporate elements from that of a systems theory approach as well as strength based, and person-centered approaches. I also love to work on building a connection to one’s intuition as I believe this can contribute to the empowerment of the self.
Hobbies:
I absolutely love to cook and am slowly learning how to bake. I also have a love of photography and getting outside as much as I can.
