More About Matthew Kressin
Clinical Interests:
I have extensive training in diagnostics and assessments for neurodevelopmental disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual Disability. I also conduct diagnostics for ADHD, learning disorders, and mental health issues. I provide evaluations on people ages 5 and older.
Clinical Approach:
I tend to come from a Humanistic-Rogerian model of work, where I really strive to have people become motivated to achieve their best outcomes. I also have training in a more behaviorally-focused model to work on some challenging behaviors that come up during my evaluations.
Hobbies:
When not at work, I enjoy life with my wife and our young son, as well as our crazy collie Boris. I love to read, ride my bike, play trivia, and watch a good scary movie. I also enjoy gardening, but I am nowhere close to having a green thumb. I have also recently started getting into collecting vinyls, and I have been lucky to come across some great copies of James Bond soundtracks.
