More About McKenna Walsh

I graduated from Syracuse University with my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and a CAS in Trauma. I moved to Saint Louis to pursue my Ph.D. in Medical Family Therapy at Saint Louis University.

I seek to help individuals and couples understand how our brains really work for and against us, empowering clients to develop new skills and strategies to make the changes in their lives they are looking for. My therapy style focuses on building skills and tools in the therapy room that can be brought into and applied to a client’s real life.

Prior to changing my career and becoming a therapist, I grew up in California and have spent most of my adult life in Los Angeles and New York. I had a successful career as an executive in finance and technology and enjoyed writing for publications. A lifelong nerd, my hobbies include reading and video games.
