Clinical Interests:
I have an interest and experience in working with children and their families in areas of anxiety, depression, adjustment to change/transitions, self-esteem, relationship issues and trauma. I have interest in and work with early childhood (0-5), children, teens and postpartum.
Clinical Approach:
I incorporate various different treatment approaches into my practice to meet the needs of my clients. I place value in establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients in order to provide a space that allows them to feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences. I work from a person-centered approach and utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), strength-based therapy, creative/art-based therapy and play therapy.
Hobbies:
I enjoy making memories with friends and family and spending time outdoors. I find great comfort and a sense of peace when surround by nature. I enjoy going on walks with my dog, biking, gardening, and art.
