More About Michelle Gress
Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests include using integrative care approaches with adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach includes utilizing a variety of treatment modalities to meet each individual where he/she/they are at in their recovery journey. Following a thorough assessment, treatment planning includes strength-based and person-centered planning to work side-by-side with the individual receiving care and his/her/their identified supports. Specific treatment modalities utilized include motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and integration of a variety of recovery-based programs (trauma-informed groups, 12 step programs, SMART, etc).
Hobbies:
I most enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and son. Together we enjoy any activity outside, crafts, and spending time with family. My individual interests involve reading (any and all genres), walking/biking/staying active, and learning new things.
