More About Miranda Boehne
Clinical Interests:
I work with adolescents, teens, young adults, adults, and families experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional/defiance, anger/aggression, transitions and adjusting to overall change. I especially enjoy bridging the gap of miscommunication and misunderstanding between family members to resolve conflicts.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach tends to be more person-centered; placing my patients in the drivers seat of their own treatment objective progress. I offer an unconditional positive regard, empathetic and non-judgmental therapeutic space patients are validated and free to unpack their thoughts and feelings through understanding. I also offer strength-based and solution-focused services where progress is magnified and multiplied. Other important approaches and tools utilized include, DBT (Dialectical behavior therapy), CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy), Family Systems and MI (Motivational Interviewing).
Hobbies:
I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors; whether that be spectating tractor pulls/car shows, fishing, hiking, camping, or simply enjoying the fresh air.
