More About Morgen Juel
Clinical Interests:
I work with individuals 18 and older. My clinical interests and specialty areas include: depression, grief and loss, PTSD and trauma, perinatal mental health, anxiety, EMDR work, and DBT skills.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is flexible and centers on a strong relationship with my clients. I am validating and nonjudgmental… at the same time, I strive to gently nudge clients towards the changes they are wanting to make in their lives. My approach is relational with an emphasis on trauma-centered treatments (including EMDR) and DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy) coping strategies. I have been in the field for 14+ years and so I certainly integrate various treatment approaches in my clinical work.
Hobbies:
I have lived in the Brainerd area since 2009 and I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family (biking, hiking). I also enjoy watching movies, taking naps, spending time with friends, and going out to eat.
